	Your escape begins at Opossum Creek Retreat in stylish and comfortable accommodations, nestled in the woods. Show up, settle in and get some rest to prepare for your first day of river adventures. Arrive at Wildwater Expeditions for your hot breakfast to fuel up for the day on the Upper New River. Explore the fun rapids in our inflatable kayaks, or duckies, take in the splendor of the New River Gorge and float in the refreshing water the whole day. After your trip relax back at your cabin before you get ready for your dinner in Fayetteville at Pies & Pints, featuring gourmet pizza of all kinds and delicious microbrews.
	On day 2, wake up and prepare yourself for your exciting rafting adventure on the Lower New River. Enjoy a hot breakfast at Wildwater before heading out to experience some of the best whitewater in the country! Enjoy fun, challenging rapids in the heart of the New River Gorge. Take in tales of the ghost towns that dot the hillsides in the gorge. Of course, you will take a breather during your trip to enjoy a satisfying deli-style lunch on the riverside. Head back to Opossum Creek Retreat to power down for a couple of hours before you head to The Sedona Grille on the outskirts of historic Fayetteville. Enjoy delicious appetizers and choice entrees ranging from pasta to New York Strip steak.
	You’ll lament your last night in our little Shangri-La here in New River Country, but we’ll send you off with a breakfast at the Cathedral Café. This place is the nexus for all things outdoors and otherwise in Fayetteville. Go for the breakfast burrito or perhaps the 5.10 breakfast platter. As you wave goodbye with a wistful tear in your eye, know that we’ll be waiting for you with a big smile next time you need a rejuvenating experience!
